Islamorada Fishing Report For The Week Of July 27th, 2015

Report730aWe’re Filling Our Coolers With Mangrove And Yellowtail Snappers In Our Latest Islamorada Sport Fishing Trip Report!

Our deep sea fishing report for Isamorada in the Florida Keys for this last week of July 2015 starts off with some great weather.  On our offshore fishing charter trips aboard the Reel Sharp Sportfishing charter boat, the seas have been slick calm for the most part with seas at 1 – 2 feet high at best.  Our Florida Keys dolphin fishing slowed down for a couple of days in the beginning of the week, but has picked right up again with lots of schoolie and gaffer sized fish ranging from 600 – 800 feet of water.

Our Islamorada fishing report for inshore on the reef shows fishing has been great!  Islamorada bottom fishing for Mangrove Snappers and Yellowtail Snappers has been outstanding.  We’ve definitely been able to fill up the cooler.  Live Ballyhoos on the bottom have been producing some nice sized Mangrove Snappers…many up to 5 – 6 lbs!  Inshore in Islamorada the Tarpon fishing has still been great by the bridges.  Live crabs and mullets have been our best baits on our Tarpon fishing trips aboard the Reel Sharp Sportfishing Charter boat.  Dolphin / Mahi fishing should be improving with our next wave of fish coming through our off shore waters.

Hope you have a chance to come down and see us on the Reel Sharp before the end of the summer.
