Islamorada Fishing Report For The Week Of August 3rd, 2015

Spotty Dolphin Fishing And The Beginning Of The End Of Tarpon Season Highlight Our Latest Islamorada Sport Fishing Trip Report!

Tarpon fishing by the bridge in Islamorada in the Florida Keys during a full day fishing trip charter rental aboard the Reel Sharp Sportfishing boat. The Reel Sharp Islamorada Fishing report for the Florida Keys for the week of August 3rd, 2015 had some spotty Mahi fishing offshore.

The winds have been very light on our deep sea fishing trips the last few days.  Some of the charter boats were catching 10 – 15 fish while other boats were only seeing a handful of Dolphin while fishing offshore.  Islamorada Dolphin fishing needs some wind to push in some new debris and fish to our Florida Keys tropical waters.

The inshore Tarpon fishing has slowed down some but there were a few Tarpon caught in the 80 – 100 lb. range this week.  There is a lot of Mullet in the area so I would use that as the bait of choice.  Or live Crabs are always a good bait source when Tarpon fishing.

The end of Tarpon fishing season is quickly approaching.  Hurry down and book a day trip aboard the Reel Sharp Sportfishing boat  for the tail end of the Tarpon season in the Florida Keys.
