For this week’s Islamorada Fishing Report, Islamorada is getting some hot 90 degree days right now, and the offshore fishing is getting some good Dolphin and Black Fin Tuna fishing.
We had some nice calm days in the Florida Keys over the weekend but the winds have kicked up here in the beginning of the week. We did have our first tropical storm of the season already which stayed way offshore of the Florida Keys, but these storms do help our Dolphin fishing as they bring pieces of debris into our waters. We did have a nice catch of Dolphin and a nice Wahoo on our last offshore charter fishing trip. The reef fishing has been good also with some good Yellowtail Snapper fishing in 90 feet of water yesterday. The wrecks have had some big Permit in the 20 lb range,on them also. They love live crabs so make sure you have some on board this time of year. The Florida Keys inshore fishing has been very good with great tarpon fishing by the bridges and a lot of sharks mixed in also.
